Surprisingly up early AGAIN, much to the girls annoyance! Went in the fitness room for 20 mins (well 15 if I'm honest) then back to the room to get ready for our breakfast trip. We went into Downtown Moncton - 10 mins away, for another Cora's special - which again was incredible.
As the weather was hot and sunny, we decided to head to Parlee Beach, which was recommended to us. Found this without too much trouble - and piled out of the car and onto the beach, armed with 3 beautiful white hotel towels (I didn't think we'd be needing beach towels, so didn't pack any!) Had an hour on the beach - too hot for any longer, then drove back to the hotel via a few shops!!! (No surprise there then!!)
Nice dip in the pool - then back in the car to explore the area a bit more. Got 'lost' a couple of times - could see the hotel in the distance, but couldn't seem to get on the right bit of the road!!! Apparently there is a severe storm warning - and the possibility of tornado's. Great news (not), as we are driving to P.E.I. via the Confederation Bridge tomorrow, which they close if the weather is severe enough - that would just be our luck!! Fingers crossed the storm comes and goes quickly!!
The girls decided to go to see a film this evening - our hotel is attached to an indoor amusement park (like the Metro Centre's) and a cinema complex, so they've gone on their own!! I'm chilling out in the room with the coffee pot on, the plasma tv on - whilst catching up with my blog!!! Food when they get back!!
