Breakfast in the hotel - quite nice, although pricey... then on with our bike ride! We were told we could have the bikes all day for the same price - nice idea, but.....! We cycled round the park, down to the 'marina' (with its one boat) and round the park again - great day for biking, overcast but mild!
After our very strenuous bike ride, we decided to jump in the car and do some more exploring of the West side of the island. I laughed to myself, as we drove mile after mile along quiet roads, and through gorgeous, unspoiled countryside - idyllic if you're not looking for a shopping mall or a place to eat!! Its quite funny how the girls have spent hardly anything since arriving in PEI - might change when we get to Charlottetown in a few days, as there is at least one mall!!!! Lol...!
We found yet another lovely beach, so parked up, walked up and down and made 'art attack' pictures in the sand (this is about as exciting as it gets here!!)
Next stop was North Cape, right at the very top of the island - very windy here and not so warm, so didn't stay long!!
Back along the 'highway' to our hotel. When I say highway - I mean the main road, which is single lane and stops at one point completely, for roadworks!!! Then it's into the pool before getting ready for dinner. Dinner will be at the hotel again, as we've yet to find anywhere else nearby!!!
